Morphollica.com welcomes Dr. Robert Jones, MD to our expert panel

We are proud to bring you another top hair loss expert and professional -- Dr. Robert Jones, MD, hair restoration surgeon -- as a new member of our hair loss experts panel. Dr. Jones, founder of the Toronto Hair Transplant Center, is one of the first surgeons practicing follicular unit extraction hair transplantation. Follicular Unit Extraction (or FUE) is a method whereby the hairs harvested from the donor area are taken in a minimally invasive manner, without the use of a scalpel as in traditional methods of hair transplantation. Traditional transplantation methods of extraction leave a scar that, in the best of cases is very thin and hidden at the back of the neck behind the remaining hair in the area. In the worst case, when the job is botched the scar can stretch or be difficult to hide. FUE eliminates this problem by extracting one follicular unit of hair at a time. This means that no scar results, and no stiches are needed.

We look forward to the insights and education that Dr. Jones will provide in answer to your questions!
