four and a half months post-op

Posted on Friday 21 July 2006

On July 20th it was 5 months, but these photos were taken about 2 weeks ago.
Every day I get comments from patients, family and friends like “Your hair looks great” It’s a great feeling to have your hair get thicker every time you look in the mirror. Finally a chance to see the clock turn back!

3 months and 3 weeks post-op

Posted on Wednesday 14 June 2006

Hello,
It’s been a while, my hair is filling in nicely.
My 23 year old daughter came home from university a few weeks ago and the first thing she said to me was “Dad, you have more hair!!”
Nice to see the clock turned back for once.
Will update with photos in the next few days,

hair starting to grow

Posted on Monday 24 April 2006

Hello, I’m pleased to say that at 2 months post-op I’m starting to feel stubble growing. The hair feels like it is starting to fill in a bit. I’m sure a lot of this is shock loss regrowth at this stage but is still nice to see new hair growth. The scar is slightly pink but I hardly know it is there unless I feel it, it is a bit tender in a few areas.
I’m doing the Big Sur Marathon this weekend and Ottawa at the end of May. I feel really fit and excited about the new hair growth.

5 weeks post-op

Posted on Thursday 30 March 2006

Hello,
I am now 5 weeks post-op and back to all normal activities. I just got back from Costa Rica and included a photo of me learning to surf!
The top of my head is still a bit numb and I have had a bit of shock loss but I know all is temporary so I am anxious to see some hair sprouting in a month or two,
