Xandrox 5% day-time solution

Original Purpose or Use:

Minoxidil: Vasodilator -- used for high blood pressure.
Azaleic Acid: Acne treatment.

FDA Approved?

The ingredients are FDA approved. Xandrox itself is not.

Scientific Results:

While I am not aware of any studies pertaining specifically to Xandrox. There are quite a few studies on the active ingredients.

Observed Results:

Moderate regrowth in vertex/crown, hairline, and temple areas

Notes:

Combines minoxidil 5% and azaleic acid 5% in one solution. The azaleic acid is purported to be a potent DHT inhibitor. Xandrox, in my opinion, is better than regular minoxidil 5% solution.

Side Effects:

The azaleic acid can cause itchiness. The most common side-effect is irritation due to propylene glycol. Dr. Lee will compound it for you without propylene glycol if you experience this.
