Perifolliculitis capitis

Question

Dear doctor, I suffer from the perifolliculitis capitis in my crown for about 5 monthes...I have lost some bunch of hairs (like a spot) in 2,3 points of my head. I want to know, which are the effective methods of treatment and also may the lost hairs regrow after the treatment? thx

Dear Ehsan, To control and potentially cure the condition, the best way is to use Accutane. If you have scarring with shinny points on your scalp, it would be very difficult to grow the hair at these locations. What treatments have you used previously?
