CAN YOU STILL DO THIS AND ONCE ITS DONE WILL I WALK OUT WITH BEAUTIFUL LASHES OR WILL THEY FALL OUT. I DONT WANT TO BE WITHOUT.I KNOW THE HEALING PROCESS IS A COUPLE OF WEEKS, BUT WILL I HAVE LASHES AND THERAFTER WILL I GET FULLER ONES. WHY DO YOU ONLY PUT 20-30 THAT SEEMS SO FEW. NORMALLY DONT WE HAVE ABOUT 60-80? WHERE IS YOUR OFFICE AND IS THERE ANY IN TEXAS? THANKS
Sandra,
Thank you for inquiring about the eyelash transplant procedures I perform routinely.
You don't walk out of the office with lashes. The procedure permanently implants follicles into the lid. Typically 20-30 eyelashes/lid are enough to make a significant change in your look. If you have total loss of lashes, you might need an additional eyelash transplant procedure to finish the job. Typically, it takes just a few days to completely heal from the procedure. Significant swelling or bruising is very rare with the technique I use. After a few days, you can resume using eye makeup. Ususally, the transplanted lashes are temporarily shed and begin to regrow after six weeks or so. It can take 6-12 months to appreciate the final result. Remember that you will have to trim the transplanted lashes on a regular basis. My office is located in Boca Raton, Florida. Local hotel accommodations are included with my professional fee.
