Hello Doctor I wanted to know how does the follicle of a hair look like when your experiencing telogen effluvium. I believe that I'm going through this. The roots of the hairs that are falling out seem to be very tiny and white. Is this how hairs that are going through TE look like?

How many hairs are you losing per day? What do you believe is the cause of your TE. TE hairs are thin and angled at the tip.
