Eyebrow Problem Part 2! Please Help!
Hi, I was wondering if you could please help me.
I e-mailed you a few weeks ago, explaining how for the last 2 years I have used a hair dye, which was meant for the scalp, on my eyebrows to achieve a darker look. And how I caught a skin infection from using the dye and around 90 percent of my eyebrow hair completely fell out.
I have seen some regrowth, although the new eyebrow hairs that have come through are now also falling out! The new hairs were only there for a few months and then they started to come out.
I am very upset. Please can you tell my why this is happening and offer me any advice on what I should do. Thankyou. Jodie Foster
I would give it more time for the hair to go through a few more cycles i.e. a year or more to see how much will eventually grow back. If the regrwoth is not satisfactory, then I would consider a hair transplant.
Sincerely,
Dr. Bernstein
