How close are we to using hair clonning to restore hair? I have read various reports and it is hard to get a clear picture as to what stage the developement is.

Answer

The ability to multiply hair outside of the body is currently being researched. It is not clear, even to those in charge of this research, exactly when it will be available. Most likely, it will NEVER replace traditional transplantation, but simply add to the amount of hair we can move around. --dr. b. doctorb@baumanmedical.com
