Hi I'm a Japanese female and I have severe hair loss on a frontal part. I've read an article something about laser comb. Do you have any information about this? If so, please let me know if it really works and if it is really good for scalp? / considerable side effects etc... Thank you very much. Michiyo

	Answer

Laser therapy is a relatively new form of treatment for hair loss. The scientific studies are just now being done. It is certainly no 'miracle cure.' However, I have successfully used laser therapy in my practice for years (since 1999, in fact). Lasers tend to improve the quality of your hair over a period of months. There are no side effects to this treatment. I offer laser therapy in my office and I also dispense hand-held devices to my patients.
