Hair regrowth after accutane
Hello Doctor
I was on accutane several months ago, and I have been experiencing hair loss for the past 3 months after my treatment. Currently, I\'m still experiencing hair loss, but I have started to notice some re-growth which is very promising.
However, Im only seeing some re-growth along my hair line on my forehead and temples, but Im not really seeing any new growth along the sides of my head or on the top of my head.
My question are:
1) Is it normal to see hair growing in one place like this and is this a sign that my hair will soon start to grow all over again, or should I be concerned that it seems to be growing only in one spot.
2) Because my hair is falling out very easily, I have been taking fewer showers which has now given me dandruff. I was wondering, could this dandruff slow down or block my hair growth?
Thank you for your time.
Dandruff may cause shedding on your scalp. Therefore I would recommend that you use Head and Shoulders Intensive Care along with Nizoral Shampoo. It may 3-6 months before your regrowth will fully show itself throughout your scalp.
