Sebum and DHT
What is sebum's relationship to DHT? Does propecia effect sebum levels at all?
Not sure. We know there is some DHT in the sebum, but how this affects hair follicles is unknown. In my experience, men with male pattern hair loss seem to have excess sebum, but I don't have any studies to prove it. Perhaps the follicles stop producing hair while the sebum glands are working overtime? How's your sebum production? I've got some excellent shampoo options for very oily scalp and hair.
