Propecia and mature hairline

Question

I think I want to keep my teenage hairline, Can I do this by starting propecia? Whether its MPB or not will propecia help me keep all my hair I have right now? Hairloss of any kind makes you look older and I dont want that.

Answer

Propecia will prevent male pattern hair loss. If the recession of the hairline is hereditary male pattern loss, Propecia will work to prevent it. Do you have hair loss in the family? --Dr. B.
