How can MPB be trigger/speedup if it's genetical programmed to be sensitive
Hi, Dr. I read in so many places that stress, ect can speed up MPB but i can't find no scientific data on this or how it happens. Is it a theory? I mean if genetics could be speed up so fast many other things that has to do with genetics such as age, sickeness, skin, diseases, ect would too. Can u please give me an explanation to this because im confuse with this. I was told that my stress speed up MPB.
There is no scientific study that proves that stress makes hair loss worse. However, think about what stress can do to the body... Cancer, heart disease, stroke... these are the most common killers in the U.S. They are all related to stress in some way. When you are stressed, you are more likely to have tooth decay, catch the common cold or flu, have cold sores, etc. As a physician, I've learned not to underestimate stress.
Sometimes stress seems to cause hair loss.
Sometimes it's the other way around... ;)
We can't avoid stress, but we can sure manage how we deal with it. In my opinion, starting treatment for MPB certainly can reduce stress in many ways. What are you doing to treat your MPB?
