Nothing seems to work
I'm 23 and have seb dermatitis. I started propecia about 9 months ago. At 4 months I noticed shedding stopped but about 2 months later it began again. I also tried rogaine at the same time but it irritated my scalp so much that I scratched it in my sleep causing blood. Was I imagining the stop in shedding? and is there anything I can do?
Seb. derm. can certainly exacerbate male pattern hair loss. You need a dermatologist to treat the seb-derm and a hair restoration physician to treat the hair loss. Minoxidil and Propecia are the medical treatments for male pattern hair loss. Do you have a dermatologist? Do you have a Hair Restoration Physician?
