New Lignan Study
Hi Dr. Bauman,
Thank you so much for your assistance here, it is comforting. I am currently using Propecia and wonder whether I should supplement it with flaxseed oil or lignan capsules in light of the latest pilot study. What are your thoughts? Thank you again!

No. Propecia and Minoxidil remain the first-line of defense for male pattern hair loss. No changes in prescribing recommendations should be based on a small pilot study.
Stick with the fda-approved treatments, first.
