I know the MPB process can be accompanied by a burning irritated feeling to the scalp....Have you ever heard of anyone experiencing this same reaction to taking Finasteride---Perhaps by some upregulation of androgen/DHT ?

No. I've never heard of anyone who felt an increase in scalp pain after taking propecia. In fact, the opposite is what is common and expected.
