trichotillomania
ive suffered from trich for about 10 years. my hair used to grow back in really fast now its so slow. iv actually been trying not to pull it out and ive done an excellent job except when i get depressed by how slow its going i start pulling it again. i'll stop for about a month to two months and leave it alone but the hair really dont look like its growing at all, it looks like its the same length it was two months ago. is there some kind of product i could use to try to get it to grow faster????? thanks.
Sometimes, the follicles are permanently damaged. This means that they will not grow well even after you stop pulling. Minoxidil might be worth a try. Typically, it takes a year or so (without pulling) for us to judge how the hair is doing. Are you under treatment for the trichotillomania (TTM)?
