Fungus and Hair Loss?
A couple months ago, my 9 year old son was diagnosed with a fungus. It had caused him to lose patches of hair. Our dermatologist prescribed Loprox gel, Loprox shampoo, and Lamisil pills (1/2 pill per night). I am not sure whether the fungus is completely gone, although the itching has mostly subsided. I am now worried about what to do to get the hair to grow back. The doctor gave us some Olux samples. I have not yet noticed any improvement. Is there something else that could help? Is this normal? Thank you in advance for your help!
Hello,
Usually the hair grows back, but there is nothing you can do except wait and hope. Most of the time the hair regrows within a year or so,
