Azelaic Acid - shedding

Question

Dear Dr. Khadavi, I have been on regaine and propecia for 6 years since 16 years old and a month and a half ago decided to change to Dr Lee's Xandrox 5% with azelaic acid in it. I have shed ever since starting the regimen and i know it's not because of the minoxidil because i have always been using it so it must be the azelaic acid. How long is this shed going to last and why does azelaic acid cause this shed when it's normally minoxidil? Thank you.

Dear Sam, You may be having a irritation from use of Xandrox since Xandrox has a different delivery system than the Rogaine does for minoxidil. Please contact Dr. Lee so that he may be able to help you better with his product.
