YOUNG WOMAN EXCESSIVE HAIR LOSS
I HAVE EXPERIENCED EXCESSIVE HAIR LOSS, FROM THE YEAR 1998 TO PRESENT , I HAVE NEVER TRIED TO GET ANY HELP , I GUESS ALL IN HOPING THAT IT WOULD GROW BACK ON IT'S OWN. I AM TIRED OF LOOKING THIS WAY, AND HAVING TO WEAR MY HAIR IN CERTAIN STYLES TO COVER UP THE THINNING SPOTS WHICH ARE ON BOTH SIDES OF MY HEAD, TOWARDS THE FRONT, NOT IN THE MIDDLE. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT COULD BE THE CAUSE. I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT TO DO, I AM NOT CURRENTLY WORKING AT THIS TIME. I JUST HAD A BABY.SO THE ONLY INSURANCE THAT I HAVE IS MEDICAL.SHOULD I SEE MY GENERAL PHYSICIAN? I DON'T THINK THAT IF THE PHYSICIAN WERE TO REFER ME TO ANOTHER PHYSICIAN OR HAIR SPECIALIST, MEDICAL WOULD COVER THE CHARGES.PLEASE, PLEASE E-MAIL ME BACK WITH YOUR EXPERT ADVICE. Unfortunatly, hair restoration treatments and procedures are not covered by insurance. Depending on the severity of the condiiton and the recommended treatments, it could be costly if you do not have some type of financing in place.
