Sodium Laureth Sulfate bad?
Hi, after reading many articles on the internet about laureth sulfate and other similar named ingredients causing hairthinning and loss. Reading this has scared me quite a bit. What are your opinions on this matter. Also could you recommend any sulfate free shampoos that cleanse really good and get rid of oil and dirt build up?
Although most of the reactions and inflammation is not severe, I am not a big fan of SLS. In fact, when I set out to design my own shampoo and haircare products for my hair loss patients, I used a formulation that was sulfate-free. Keep in mind that these shampoos are not 'hair growth products.' However, they are useful for the cleansing and management of thin hair. I've got an excellent shampoo, conditioner, volumizer and hold spray. The brand is "Bauman-MD" and you can order them through my office at 561-394-0024, located in Boca Raton, Florida. The toll free number is 1-877-BAUMAN-9 and email: info@baumanmedical.com
Let me know if you want me to send you some. I know you will like them.
Sincerely,
Dr. B.
