Can it hurt to try propecia?
Hi. We have no hair loss really in our family, But im almost 23 and my hairline hasnt receded I have a teenage hairline. The back is thinning and real itchy, and at the temples its real itchy to and i have some miniturized hairs there. There is also bad dandruff where white pieces of i guess dead cells are coming up. My derm said seb dermatitis but The medicated shampoos arent helping, and the hair loss keeps going does DHT have anything to do with inflammation, itchiness, or dandruff?
DHT probably does not have anything to do with the seb-derm. But, you never know.
Miniaturized hairs could be a sign of male pattern loss.
Keep me posted.
Sincerely,
Dr. B.
