scarring alopecia

I have scabs around my small bald spots. Is there somthing that can get rid of the scabs because I would think this would inhibit grow in that area? Nobody seems to know much about scarring alopecia including the dermatologist I went to. I also have inflammed and itchy scalp. The doctor tried me on corizone foam and shampoo and now Rogaine and T-Sal shampoo.Can I mix products? Also, would photorejuvenation help and can I use permanent cosmetic to cover the bald areas on top? Thank you
