Dear Dr Bauman i have a hair loss question for you, i have a family history of hair loss.I wear a hat to hide it ,and ever since I've done this I'loss some around my hairline.does wearing a hat erode the hairline.thanks for your help jim g

Hats do not cause hair loss. Although they do make your hair harder to manage. If you have hair loss in your family, you are likely experiencing genetic male pattern hair loss. Have you considered treatment? Sincerely, Dr. B. doctorb@baumanmedical.com
