Hair Loss and Genetics
On my fathers side nearly all the males have a slight but hardly noticeable receding hairline, while on my mothers side my grandpa and uncle are bald. Im 17. What are the chances of me becoming bald?
No one can predict the future. However, if you have hair loss in your family, you are 'at risk' for hair loss. Do you have thin, wispy hair at the hairline? If so, this is hair that is miniaturizing and will propbably eventually die.
Safe and effective treatments are available. You should have a scalp density measurement done.
