18 w/ hairloss
I am 18 years old and have had a receding hairline for almost a year or so now. Its starting to recede pretty good but the hair on the rest of my head is still pretty thick. I started taking procerin and using nisim shampoo. Do you think that will help at all? I cant really take propecia because of he cost and also don't want to take it because of the sexual side effects. Is there anything else PROVEN that is somewhat inexpensive to stop hair loss at the temples and also prevent further hair loss?
Procerin is a waste--it is not FDA-approved. You should look into starting Propecia if you are serious about stopping your hair loss. Propecia is safe and effective, but requires a prescription.
Side effects in your age group are really a non-issue. They are few and far between.
Sincerely,
Dr. B.
