Hi-- I am a 39 yr old black male starting to thin. In seeking help-- should I go to my general dr., a dermatologist, or a hair restoration place like hair Club for Men? I am in NY city-- can you reccomend any good hair experts? Thanks

General doctor: has no hair loss training. Dermatologist: minimal hair loss training, no available surgical solutions and has no time to consult with you or follow up with you. Hair Club: the largest wig manufacturer in the world? (be careful--very careful)! My suggestion is to find a solo practice, full-time hair restoration physician who can offer you a modern multi-therapy approach to hair restoration treatments and procedures.
