hair loss
I am a 52 year old African-American female. I have been experiencing thinning and loss of hair since the age of 30. My grandmother, mother, 3 maternal aunts, and only sister experienced severe hair loss in the frontal and crown area. I tried Roagine for a few months, but gave it up,because I was growing a large amount of facial hair instead of hair on my scalp. I really would like help and directions of what I can do , if any thing, to regain some my dignity and glory(hair) back.
Deborah,
When treatment with minoxidil fails (from side-effects, for example) we typically recommend hair transplantation. This is a safe and effective procedure to redistribute hair into the thinning or balding areas. It works equally well in all sexes and ethnicities. If you can submit photos to doctorb@baumanmedical.com, I can begin to design a treatment plan that would help you reach your goals.
Sincerely,
Dr. B.
