hairloss
I would like to ask two questions regarding hairloss the firtst is, Does weight training increase the amount of testoterine in your body so that would increase you the risk of lossing more hair? ( if you have male pattern baldness) and Does massaging the scalp morning and evening increase thr health of the scalp and blood flow to the follicle?
People with heavy workout regimens (for weight training OR weight loss) tend to lose hair. The reason is not clear, but it probably has something to do with the way your body uses it's available fuel. I doubt this is related to the increase in testosterone, unless you are using some kind of anabolic steroid or other performance-enhancing medication/supplement. Massage has never been proven to impact hair growth, although it feels good. The resulting blood flow from massage only lasts a few minutes, so it is unlikely that it will have an effect.
Have you seen hair loss since you have been working out?
Sincerely,
Dr. B.
