temple solution
Hi,
I wanted to know what you would recommend is the best hair loss preventer and regrowth that is out there? Myself, i just turned 26 and i can say i still have a full set of good hair however i have experienced some loss at the two top corners of the temples. I also wanted to know what your views are on the topical products as i have a few people i know out there that have used natural products and have seen them prevent hairloss and some regrowth as well and mantaining it for a long time. One of my family members has been using Nutrifolica and has seen a dramatic stop in hairloss and is experiencing some new hairregrowth at the temples and crown after six mmonths. So i wanted to know what your thoughts on Nutrifolica is to. If you can get back to me with some answers it would be greatly appreciated.
Tony,
The best treatment for male pattern hair loss is Propecia. Safe and effective, it stops hair loss or regrows visible hair in 90% of patients. It is the treatment of choice for all men who suffer from recession of the frontal hairline and thinning in the crown area.
For topical medications, I like Minoxidil. But, it is so much harder to use than propecia.
Despite your families' experiences, there is simply no evidence that herbal products have any effect on hair loss. If you'd like more info, email me.
Sincerely,
Dr. B.
