Generic Finasteride
Hi,
I'm a 21 year old male from the UK and I've been experiencing moderate hair loss throughout the front and centre of my scalp since about 18 months ago. Recently I have started to take generic finasteride (1mg) called Finpecia manufacured by Cipla (http://www.cipla.com/ourproducts/Dermatological%20products/finpecia.htm). I purchased it from www.qualitygenerics.com, and I've been on it for about 3 months but I havent seen any significant improvements yet. Is there any reason why I should doubt the effectiveness of this generic finasteride (1mg Finpecia), as opposed to the original finasteride (1mg Propecia)?
Please explain. Many thanks.
Finasteride is generally effective between 3-6 months of use. If you feel that your source of the product is good, I would recommend that you continue the treatment for at least 3 more months.
