Revivogen with Lasercomb
I am a Norwood 2. I have been losing my hair slowly since I was 14 and now I'm 23. My hairline has hardly changed since I was 18, but the hair in front has become thinner and doesn't grow down to my chin like it once did. It only grows to my eyebrow at the longest.
For the past 2 months I've been using revivogen only. Revivogen is the only treatment I have ever tried. I will not use a hormone drug such as finasteride. I apply Revivogen once a night an hour or so before bed and then wash off in the morning with revivogen shampoo. At first I was very nervous because my hair seemed to be getting much thicker and coarser for 2 weeks and then started to all be falling out in front. For a month it was about 50% as thick as before I started treatment.
Now it seems some of my existing hair has gotten thicker and some of my roots darker. Also I am noticing that my temples have a fuzz that is visible in the light right after I wash. I'm hoping that revivogen will stimulate these follicles to grow even more. I am surprised that they are even there anymore, though I haven't noticed any scarring on my scalp except at the tip of my windows peak.
I am thinking about trying out the lasercomb in conjunction with the revivogen to see if the two can stimulate my temples to grow in fully. Would you advise against this?
Also, I had a question about shampooing twice a day. I wash in the morning to get rid of the topical ointment, then I am very active in the day and I run 5-10 miles a day and get very sweaty so I like to cleanse the scalp at night before going to bed and applying revivogen. Will shampooing twice a day hurt my hair?
Dear Ryan,
With continued use of Revivogen you will obtain even better results. The hairs on your scalp will continue to grow longer and thicker. You may shampoo twice daily without any consiquences. I can not recommend the use of lasercomb since I have no experience in the use and outcome of the product.
